So I had my first interview since graduating in December, and I didnt get the positoin as it was mostly centered on XP and I have NO experience in XP. So now I'm into the idea of taking the 70-270, yet I see that with the 70-271/272 not only will I have the title of MCDST, but my knowledge will be more geared towards the troubleshooting aspect of XP.
Here is my dilemma, I dont see it necessary to take all 3 exams, but I want to make sure I'm not in over my head. So, do I start with the 270 and get my MCP, or go for the MCDST, which is frankly what I'm more interested in? What's the main difference?

You can still register and take them, but you would have to do it in about a month. Definitely possible, and if you are like me you already have most of the knowledge and just want the piece of paper to prove it then maybe a good bet. But if you are going to need a bunch of learning, it's probably just better to skip xp and move on to the windows 7 stuff.Decide what to be and go be it. -
