Hi,
Currently working as a Senior Server Engineer for a large global integrator, role is very narrow focused on Windows OS support. Current certs I have are:
2010 IT Certifications
• Microsoft Certified IT Professional Enterprise Admin 2008 Server (MCITP:EA 200
2009 IT Certifications
• Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist 2008 Server (MCTS 200
2008 IT Certifications
• Microsoft Certified Professional Certification (MCP 2003)
• Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA 2003)
• Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE 2003)
2002 IT Certifications
• Microsoft Certified Professional Certification (MCP 2000)
• Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA 2000)
• Certified Novell Administrator (CNA)
• A+ Service Technician Certification ( Completed both Software/Hardware Courses)
• Implementing and Administering Microsoft Windows XP (Course #2272)
• Certified Help Desk Analyst (HDA)
Im looking at doing some more certs but not Windows Server focused. Thoughts so far are mainly due to looking at demand in the market and are as follows:
* Exchange 2010
* SCOM
* SCCM
* VMWARE --> This is a big one i want to do, the instructor led thing is a killer. Im a contractor and happy to pay my way through it but i dont want to do a 5 day straight course, would be very happy if they did a part time version of this....
Open for suggestions.
Cheers
