TEHO - How often is it really used?

For those of you actually configuring this stuff in a larger environment or as a provider, how often do you come across TEHO configs / setups? is it common? do many corps really take advantage of this?

Usually all of my customers with sites in large cities like NYC, DC, LA and a lot of calls are made there outbound we will do TEHO for them. With that said I'm not sure the pricing for lond distance these days for companies so I'm not even sure if its needed.Currently Reading

pitviper Member Posts: 1,376 ■■■■■■■□□□We were going to implement TEHO but the savings between interoffice dialing over the MPLS network, combined with a renegotiated contract with our carriers (which included a significant decrease in toll charges) made management happy enough.
As Sho said, long distance call costs just aren’t as expensive as they were 5+ years ago.

Flyingput Member Posts: 114 ■■■□□□□□□□I hear ya pitviper. We got less than 2c per minute on long distance. Why bother with TEHO? But our big customers (multi-sites) have these TEHO in production systems. Codec mismatch somewhere is always the trick!
