As WFQ is used for the class-default queue, does this therefore further break down the class-default into sub-queues? If so, do these sub-queues subtract from the total number of CBWFQ queues on a particular platform?, or is there a separate queue allocation for this?

They're all soft queues, there's only 1 hardware queue

Thanks but that's not really what I was questioning. I was after any details on what queue allocation the WFQ flows subtract from.

AFAIK, CBWFQ support up to 64 queues "Class" depending on hardware/software and it run a seperate instance of WFQ for class-default traffic, up to 4096 dynamic queues
I see it this way
LLQ
CB
WFQ
