hey how can I do a display partition command on my vm server esxi 3.5 and 4.1 ? I am trying to see how it is partitioned? after the install of defaults? what is a good partitioning of a esxi server ? anyone have a good volume layout?

astorrs Member Posts: 3,139 ■■■■■■□□□□For ESXi just let the hypervisor partition it how it wants (ESX partitioning a lost art form in ESXi).
If you're dealing with an older ESX environment, then have a look at Duncan's blog post on the topic partitioning your esx (make sure to read the comments for other peoples input). -
