Lammle 5th edition question
Distraction
I work for a company that does internal Cisco training (i.e. non-Cisco personnel that are "experts" in Cisco fundamentals such as CCNA, etc.) and while I took the "boot camp" offered last December and am currently studying to take the exam in another month or so (based on the fourth edition that I currently have of Lammle's Study Guide), I heard the fifth edition is already out.
My questions are these, supposedly I heard that with the fifth edition, is the explanation of how you can have a ".0" network address w/out it being a default gateway address.
Is this true?
If so, is this really the only major difference?
When can one expect material from the fifth edition to be on the CCNA exams?
Thanks for the time!

I used the 5th edition for my studies. (I was halfway through the 4th edition when I heard of the new edition). The command you are to research is "ip subnet-zero".
It is mentioned in the book that Cisco is using the new command on the exam per 1/1-2005.

Thanks!
