For those who have VmWare...

I was thinking about buying Vmware Workstation 4.5 so I can run 4 different OS's. My question is do I need a seperate NIC for each Vitural OS? I have one install already for my main OS. So if I install 3 more OS's do I need 3 more NICS?

Thanks

No, just one NIC is suffecient. VMWare will create a virtual nic for each OS to use.

Thanks for the quick reply. One more question. I'm guessing that one NIC won't work for CCNA labs will it. Because I would have only one router hooked up to my VM box. So, lets say that I have 4 different OS's going in VM and I wanted to spilt them up into two different routers ( two hosts per router). Would I need a NIC for each OS since I need to phyiscal plug a cable into each router?

Sorry about the question, I really like the idea of VM instead of buying different boxes.

    Thanks
