Baby Steps?

Good morning, I am about to start working towards my MS certifications, and I have 0 experience with server operating systems.

I have read the book recommendations in the sticky above, and I have also spent plenty of time Google Searching, but I have yet to find a book that starts one out without expecting some prior knowledge of MS Server2k3 etc.

I need a book that starts me out like I do not know a thing about any of it, and if there is such a book please let me know.

Thanks in advanced.

Minasi's Mastering Windows server 2008 R2, if you're going for the MCITP.
I started off with his one for 2003 (it's actually sitting under my laptop beside me right now) and it was a great resource for filling in gaps and work.
I'm sure that others here will be able to suggest a few other good ones too.

On a side note, start planning for a good lab setup (lots of ram, etc.).
