Exit Interview from Employer, not Contracted Agency

So I made my exit Wednesday with the employer I was contracted to and with the agency, my employer.

Now I'm getting emails from the employer's HR manager wanting to know overall experiences there, both good and bad, what I did like, what I didn’t like, any team member and/or management issues that I’d care to express, etc.

I've been told by a former employee he was open and candid and explained how crappy it was at the employer, but he was also full-time with the company. I was told by another former employee, who was contract just like me, that for legal reasons, I don't need to speak to them at all and if I reveal anything to them, I can be sued for slander and anything else.

What do I do? If I do speak to him, what should I say?

You have no obligation to answer the HR survey. I would ignore the emails.

I wouldn't sweat it either way. The one thing I would comment on was that it was a little confusing to follow. When you talk about contract situations, your employer is the company that has their name on your paycheck, not the company for which you are contracted to do work... so, which one is asking you to do the exit interview? The company that wrote your paychecks or their client?
