Hi Guys,
Just wondering if anyone can help with this at all.
I have just picked up to 3640's, both of which have an IOS image that requires more than 64mb ram that the routers have, so boot process loops.
Any idea how I can erase the flash from Rommon so I can xmodem a smaller image on them etc.
Cheers,
Marc

Do you have a PCMCIA card that you copy copy the IOS to? That would be way faster than using xmodem. -
cuuloco10 Member Posts: 38 ■■□□□□□□□□if you face the worst case scenario of using xmodem, change the baud rate to 115K instead of the default 9600. And too bad the tftpdnld command is not available.
Good luck ! i have a similar issue with 3640 that i m trying to bring back to life. -
