Hi guys,
I'm currently studying for 70-646 and signed up to take a retake of this one if I failed. However this is my first server exam that I'm taking and I finding the different topics covered in 70-646 too much at times. I just found out from another post in this site and Microsoft that it is recommended to study and take 70-640 and 70-642 together.
My question is should I try to get my 70-646 rescheduled and start studying for 70-640 and 70-642? Or should I continue studying for 70-646?
if i dont change anything I will take 70-646 on 5/31.
I been studying for this exam for about a month and 2 weeks. Just dont want to waste my retakes and prefer to pass the first time.
Thank in advance
Steve

LCA Member Posts: 215The 70-646 exam like 70-647 builds on what is covered in 642 and 640. The last two exams I mentioned test whether or not the candidate is capable of configuring Windows Server 2008.
646 and 647 are about planning and designing Server 2008 based networks and how they fit in with a lot of other MS technologies. At the end of the day it's a personal choice but by doing 646 first it's going to be a much harder exam. It does I guess depend on your experience level. Finally 640 and 642 cover a lot of detail that is important to know.
