Ok here is the question
I know that when you ram is let say 128 mb you have to put the minimal on 1.5*128 & the maximal 3*128
But the question is is it good to go more than the maximal like maybe 4*128 or more. will it it work good or bad
Note : There is enough space on Hard disk

/usr Member Posts: 1,768 ■■■□□□□□□□You can set it higher, but if you're actually using that much then you're probably going to notice it, which means you need more actual RAM.
You can't really just set a huge pagefile and have it as a substitute for RAM.
Now watch someone come along and correct me. -
Ricka182 Member Posts: 3,359I have 512mb of memory, and my current page file is set to 4095mb. So that's more than 3x, I've seen no adverse reactions, yet. I do believe /usr is correct though, paging does not replace Ram.i remain, he who remains to be....
