Com Ports,IRQ's,Hex addresses

How much do they go into Comm ports,irq's and their hex adressing on the net +. I see alot of the practice tests go into it as it relates to installing and troubleshooting a NIC .....thanks

    Not very deeply at all for hex addresses - however know your comm ports and IRQs for nics and modems .... at least know what they are. Having A+ is definitely a bonus for Net+.

    Did not get any on my Net+ exam, you are most likely to have a lot of troubleshooting scenario's, port, OSI, DNS etc.
    Future planned exams are as follows: CCNA, Windows 2003 Server 70-290
