Measureup/CompTIA-A+
the school that i'm in (new horizons) has the Measureup/CompTIA-A+ practice test as a part of ...well a helpler before you take the final exam . the question i have is it real any good and/or helpful ? from what i see it is nothing like the exam cram practice questions book.
also it is based on the 2009 exam objectives, doe's this make a difference ?

after going through measureup for a few hr. , i don't like it .due to the fact that they ask questions that i know will not be on the rest , IE questions on windows 2000 . plus it sems to be harder then what people say the final exam is , which i don't understand. why would you make it harder then what it really is ? -
earweed Member Posts: 5,192 ■■■■■■■■■□A lot of the practice tests are harder than the regular tests as it gives you a better gage of where your weak areas are. I took the measure up before taking the A+ and also thought MU was harder than the real test. If you can score a 70 on MU then you're probably ready. No longer work in IT. Play around with stuff sometimes still and fix stuff for friends and relatives.

djfunz Member Posts: 307I know what you mean. It annoys me when I see practice questions about Windows 2000, PATA and FDD's. Come on Windows 8 is coming out in less than a year people. SDD's are gonna be the standard for OS's soon and PATA? I haven't seen anything that uses an IDE cable in over a year! Still waiting for PS/2 to be phased out though...lol.WGU Progress - B.S.
