What next after CompTIA Security+?

Any recommendations on what certification to get next after CompTIA Security+?

My eventual goal is to get the CISSP but I am learning to crawl before I run.

InfoSec is a very broad and diverse field of study. After getting the Security+ under your belt, you should be getting an idea of what domain(s) in InfoSec intrest you and hat you want to specialize in. This will be the starting point for deciding what certs to go for next.

If InfoSec is to be part of your future career, you must also be reasonable in your interests. For example, it is usually not practical to spend too much time studying computer forensics if you don't already have a legal or law enforcement background, otherwise it can be very difficult to get a job as a digital/computer forensics investigator. Make sure that you have a reasonable chance in getting an job doing what interests you.

I am looking at taking my Security+ test here soon. After that I will be asking the same question that you did. Any suggestions that you might have where you were in the same spot as me one point in time. I am thinking about the MCSA then MCSE. Also, thinking about computer forensics field.
Can you tell me the path you took and anything you might have done differently?
