Server Core hardware requirements

in MCTS / MCITP on Windows 2008 General
I have seen different hardware requirements being listed on different sites. So what are the hardware requirements of Core?

Is it 256 or 512 mb of ram? And is the disk size requirements, 3 GB or 3.5GB for installation + another 3gb for operations after installation?
Current certs: MCP (210) MCSA (270, 290, 291 and 680) MCTS (680, 640)

    Well, that article does not specify the hardware requirements for Server Core. :)

    Here is another server core related question, why am I able to join a server core computer to the domain, without providing domain credentials?

    I am quite certain it is 512mb of ram. Although, when attempting a server core installation on a VM after giving it only 512mb or ram it would blue screen and never complete the install. Gave it 1gb and then it was no issue. After the install completed I backed it back down to 512mb and it seems to perform just fine now.
