Using WIFI and LAN simultaneously

I am using WIFI to connect to my HTC phone for internet but soon as I connect to my LAN I lose internet

I have always been able to do both prior to enabling DHCP on my main WIFI and securing them all too, I have 3 in total and now they all secure with DHCP only enabled on 1 which gets the internet feed from the MODEM, out of curiosity could either of my 3 WIFI be the DHCP server?

So all of the clients in my house were on static IP, my LAN on my laptop was given an IP but my WIFI was DHCP to get internet via my HTC

Hope that makes sense, but now I can't get internet access when I connect to my home network

What is the priority order on the connections?

Go into Network Connections, click on Advanced and select Advanced Settings.

So your saying if I put the WIFI connection above the LAN that will give me INTERNET at same time as LAN access to my MAIN PC
