I was wondering if anyone knows how to get an eval version of Vcenter server I know just about every product has a 60 trial from VMware off their site however that does not seem to be the case for VCenter Server and I can't seem to find any info to lead towards any paths that will result on getting this.
Thanks for your help in advance.

QHalo Member Posts: 1,488The vCenter Client is on the vCenter Server installation DVD or by connecting to an ESXi server through the web.

It was changed in 4.1 actually.
What’s New in vSphere 4.1vSphere Client Removal from ESX/ESXi Builds. For ESX and ESXi, the vSphere Client is available for download from the VMware Web site. It is no longer packaged with builds of ESX and ESXi. After installing ESX and ESXi, users are directed to the download page on the VMware Web site to get the compatible vSphere Client for that release. The vSphere Client is still packaged with builds of vCenter Server. See the ESX and vCenter Server Installation Guide, the ESXi Installable and vCenter Server Setup Guide, and the ESXi Embedded and vCenter Server Setup Guide
The direct download links are listed on this site.

The change made in 4.1 was to remove the vSphere Client installation files from the ESXi build. It was and still is part of the vCenter Server installation, so point your web browser to a vCenter Server rather than an ESXi host and the file isn't downloaded from the internet.
And, as I originally stated, the vSphere Client installer is part of the vCenter Server media - autorun the vCenter Server media and it's an option on the menu...VCP2 / VCP3 / VCP4 / VCP5 / VCAP4-DCA / VCI / vExpert 2010-2012
