Microsoft second shot??

I have been looking around for answers on prometric and MS's websites, but cant find an answer to this particular question.

Is the second shot finishing after June 30 this year? I know you can buy a pack and take the first one by June 30 and other exams and retakes by the end of the year. But will I be able to buy a second shot voucher after June 30?? I also know that the prices are going up after June 30.

Wonder why they have it all so freaking confusing. If you read the FAQ on their websites, it befuddles you even more. Anyone help please!

Not that this is an answer for you, but I know during that promo you could buy a single exam voucher with no second shot, and then add 15% to the voucher price to give you that second shot.

Not sure if this is going to be carried over after the end of June.

Just saw this on Prometric Services: Testing and Assessment

You must register for Second Shot and pay for your exam in order to receive the Second Shot offer. You must register, schedule and take both the first (and if necessary) second retake exam by June 30, 2011. Offer available worldwide.

Looks like this means the Second Shot is only valid if you buy the pack and sit the first test by June 30. Anyone else confirm?

Yeah looked at that but it doesnt answer my question. Will I be able to buy a second shot voucher at all after June 30.

What hilarious is I just called Promteric and the chick goes " We dont know this yet " I'm like "Really, you dont know" and she goes " Prometric have not been supplied with this info ". She was quite apologetic though, and offered to call me back shortly with more info. Really, WTF?!?!

FYI everyone, you have to purchase a pack by June 30.

There is no second shot offer after June 30, meaning you cannot obtain a second shot voucher after June 30. Buy it before June 30 and you are good till the end of the year.

I remember taking an exam back in 2006 that had the second shot. I dont think we have seen the last of them. But its gonna suck failing an exam that costs (AU)$206 with no second shot available.

Lucky for me, I purchased 2x2 exam packs on the reduced price (already sat 2 of them), so I have 6 months to sit another 2 exams that have been prepaid for.

Guess we better just pass them first time around after that
