Reviews / Opinions of Robert Half ??

I have an interview on Tuesday for a NOC Technician job that is being offered by Robert Half as a full-time position. I have been in my current job at Time Warner Cable for 5 years now and I love the company and benefits but its not helping me advance my IT career since I have no real networking experience at this job. (I work in retention currently)

I am Security+ certified and I'm currently studying for my Network+ and will eventually get my A+ and CCNA after that. This seems like an excellent opportunity to gain networking experience without having to start at a helpdesk job for minimal pay. Even if I end up doing some helpdesk, this seems like a better position since I'll be in a NOC and can leverage that experience for other jobs in the future.

I would like to know what your opinions are of Robert Half in general and if you think this would be a good move for me? I've worked for temp companies in the past and hated the instability, but I'm hoping that since this was advertised as a full time slot, it'll be permanent and will give me that valuable experience. I hope they don't just hire me and decide to cut me a few weeks later if they decide I don't have the level of knowledge they were looking for.

Feedback please.....

I worked with Robert Half in Orlando. They were very pleasant and I loved the work I got through them. The staff was very proactive in helping me find work and gave me a lot of interview advice I still use. The wages were lower than I really had hoped but I did get free access to all sorts of online training and I really appreciated that.

With my awesome experience in mind there I spoke to Robert Half when I was looking to relocate to Phoenix. The Phoenix branch was HORRIBLE to work with. Calls were ignored, emails unanswered and the one time I DID get a phone interview through them they gave me one time and the interviewer a completely different time. I was still working at a clients house when my interview call came three hours early. The office also gave me the wrong job description and so I mistakenly applied for a position I did NOT have the proper experience in.

So...mixed bag. I will only attempt to work with their Phoenix office again if the people I had to deal with are no longer there. But i'd gladly work with the Orlando office again.
