hello everyone,
major question: does anyone know how to set the cir rate on cisco ME3400-FS and ME3400-24TS ? what command is used ?
some explanation...
we have ME3400-24FS, ME3400-24TS switches installed in our network as access layer switches...
we are service provider company, most of our internet customers have cpe switches installed at their end, there are some who dont have cpe switches installed at their end.
these cpe devices are provided by us, we configure it and give it to customer, now those customers who are given cpe, it is easy to limit the cir rate on cpe switches. but those who dont have cpe installed at their end, i dont know how to set the cir rate on cisco switches.
today there was one customer who had requested for 1mb link. i configured the cisco switch port as access port, made it a part of vlan, did testing, his internet was working, but i couldnt control the speed limit, does anyone who how to control the speed limit on these cisco switches ?
