Iphone calendar not synching well with the exchange server, the user can receive emails without any issue

Could be lots of things, but my first guess is that you are using IMAP to connect to the Exchange server instead of ActiveSync. IMAP doesn't support calendar syncing but ActiveSync does.

^^ This, or POP3. Must use ActiveSync to work properly. Also make sure iOS is up to date on the phone. Some older versions had problems.
