How in-depth does the CCNP get with the TCP/IP stack?

How in-depth does the CCNP get with the TCP/IP model? I've heard conflicting things. The general consensus is that the CCNP its mostly cisco, with a lot of routing protocol meat....??
My uncle is a CCNP + security (I think thats what it was called back then).
He said the CCNA went more into detail about the tcp/ip stuff than the CCNP.
Anybody have the same experience?
Thanks

You still need to know it for the CCNP. The CCNP expands on the topics that you learned in the CCNA and gets into more advanced configurations and case studies with those concepts. The CCNP also adds many more topics, hence the 4 different tests.
