Caculator question

I was looking at Comptia's FAQ. On the FAQ it says that a caculator will be provided.

WHy do you need a caculator ?


Please Advise

    I don't know why you would. I think you can use a calculator on most exams. This isn't a math test, so it's no big deal I think.

    I have seen a couple of questioins where you may need to calculate the speed of an OC line or the speed of a T3 line.

    Also its good for converting meters to feet when your trying to figure out those maximum cable lengths.
