web hosting
I had a webpage created for me and I am unable to contact the designer for the last 3 months. The site is in dire need of updates. I feel I can now do these updates but have no access to the site. I would like to move the files to a new host but I do not know who the current host is.
Is there a way to find out what company is hosting a particular webpage?

Obviously you don't have the uid/pw for the website in order to change it - so unless it has your own domain name associated to it, you may be better off saving the current site to your hd, update it, and find another hosting co...
