I want to start a new career in the IT industry as an operations manager or analyst - where I would be handling the logistics of sensitive computer and radio communications equipment - would I need to obtain a Masters in say "information systems security" to supplement a Masters in say "operations management"?
But on one hand, I have been told that after you acquire "x" amount of work experience, your degree sort of fades into the darkness - and it shouldn't matter if you had one or two degrees. On the other hand, I've heard two is better than one in this economy.
What do current IT professionals have to say about graduate education for management positions in IT?

Right now, I have registered for online courses for a technical undergraduate degree at PSU world campus, however, I'm not sure if I should go straight to a graduate program - as I already have an undergraduate degree - trying to save a buck here.
