Setting up a basic lab
OK, I'm finally realizing that I can only learn so much w/ one machine.
I'm currently studying for my MCSE and will need atleast 2, one Win2K server and a WinXP client.
My question is:
How should I do this? I know there are several ways. For example, I could get an Ethernet router and run both my server and client into it,
or I could forget about the router and run my existing DSL connection into the server (using RRAS) and run my client to the server.
Obviously the server has 2 NICs.
Can my server be a domain controller, a RRAS server, a DNS server, all at the same time?

Gonna be doing anything with administering SQL Server? If you don't have the MSDN, the SQL Server 2000 Developers Edition is very inexpensive. The MSDE 2000 is free, but it doesn't come with any management utilities.
