1760 vs 1760-V

I'm wondering if I shot myself in the foot while setting up this lab. I purchased 2 1760's and had no idea there was a 1760-V. Is there a huge difference for CCNA lab purposes? I obviously didn't do enough research in this regard. I have a 2620xm with an nm4a/2, a 2950 switch and 2x 3550 switches for my lab.
Also, my switches have manufacture dates on them but my 1760's do not. Is there a way to confirm they were produced after (I think it was Nov. 2003?) a certain date to confirm they can be upgraded to the highest amount of memory?
