Hi Guys,

Just thought Id share this VERY useful bit of information when you are using a VM and have SP on the one box:

You receive error 401.1 when you browse a Web site that uses Integrated Authentication and is hosted on IIS 5.1 or a later version

There is a security option in Server 2008 to stop loopbacks on the box so you will not be able to log onto your top level site collection with out doing the above.

Save yourself a few hours and do it before!

Its a bit stupid really as you can log onto your CA but not your top site... Pfft!
