Client Removal on Wireless LAN Controller

I logged into the Wireless LAN Controller and tracking a wireless user that had clocked 2.6GB of traffic in less than 2 hours. While looking at the client details off the client list, I decided to test the "remove" button. It immediately disassociated the client. The multilink bandwidth went from rxload 248/255 straight down to rxload 60/255.

Here's my question:

How long does this disassociation last? I noticed a pattern of high bandwidth utilization with this user, so I may want to consider placing a restriction.

Depending on your policy/environment you can disable the wireless client completely with it's MAC address so it can't connect back.. At least until you can locate the physically the person that's doing.
