I would like to get your guys and gals option.
I have applied for a position and I received an email from their HR informing me that she has summited my resume for the position. Should I email her back and say thank you?
I am not sure of protocol here.

I doubt it will be the deciding factor for a job, but in my opinion it shows interest.
