Unable to load new IOS-permission denied

in CCNA & CCENT
Hello,
I have a Cisco 3500 XL series switch and am having the following problem in which I require assistance with:
I deleted the flash and am now unable to load a new IOS.
Below is the output I receive when trying to send the new IOS to the switch in the recovery mode:
switch:
switch: copy xmodem: c3500.bin
Begin the Xmodem or Xmodem-1K transfer now...
CCCCCCCCCCBB0c3500.bin: permission denied
switch:
** I keep getting permission denied every time I try the file transfer. I have tried multiple different .bin files but now luck.
Please help!

and your using the send file option in your terminal program when you getBegin the Xmodem or Xmodem-1K transfer now -

Thank you Sir! It worked. I neglected to enter the command correctly. Always good to have a fresh set of eyes look it over.

No problem. Trust me - the only reason I recognized it is from the same experiences of my own. A re-enactment...lol.
