Cloning a VM Issues

Working on 640 Labs I had to make a fast DC I had a clone of a fresh 2008R2 with all the updates and with no Roles installed so I made a clone of my backup renamed the computer and gave it a new static ip.

I ran Dcpromo but when I get to the point that Dcpromo starts to create the AD DC I get an error about the SID is already in use.

So I didn't think the SID kicked in tell the AD roles was installed? trying to google some information about it now but if anyone has ran into this issue and can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

Joining it to the same domain I'm assuming? You'll need to sysprep it first to generated a new SID. How Sysprep Works
