CEDIA Certified: Career worthy?

I was wondering if there are any CEDIA certified people on this board and if so (or not) if they or anyone else knows how that market is career-wise, especially in conjunction with Cisco certifications. I was once told that A/V installers don't make that much even when CEDIA certified but I doubt the few that said this were also Cisco certified. Would it make any difference?
