Testing tomorrow morning at 9:30
I have roughly 24/hrs before I'm scheduled to take the sec+. I took today off to cram a bit and tomorrow to just test.
I read through Darrils book over the last month and so far I'm acing the practice exams on the first try (missing 1 question on average from each chapter).
Still, I'm feeling anxious about the exam itself.
Anyone have any other tips besides a sense of impending failure?
I've never been much of a test taker and I'm very familiar with all the material
presented in the book. I apply this knowledge everyday at work, but still - hopefully
I have nothing to worry about as I read the constant threads posted of those who
passed with great scores.
On the chance that I do pass - I'll be jumping right into study for the 301 test.
My ultimate goal is the CISSP.

Don't worry and don't stress yourself out cramming. Get a good nights sleep and take some time to just relax. It sounds counter productive, but taking some time off to relax can put you in a better test taking mood.
Worst case, you fail. Who really cares? That isn't anything to get worked up over. Good luck tomorrow and enjoy your time.Decide what to be and go be it. -
javip Member Posts: 5 ■□□□□□□□□□I've been fighting some kind of cold all week.
Went in with my eyes watery, pounding headache
and sweating with a fever. Almost called off the
test until i felt better.
I just barely ended up passing with a 789. I know I
could've done better but overall I'm ecstatic that I
passed!
Thanks everyone for the support, prior to posting I've
spent lots of time on this forum reading everyone's
words of encouragement for others. I'm looking forward
to Darril's 301 book for the new test.
Again, thanks everyone and thanks to TE, those
tech notes combined with Darril's booked helped with
this one. -
