Route Map Continue Alternative

I need to advertise some prefixes via BGP and send a community only for specific routes. Much to my disappointment, my 6500s' IOS versions don't support route-map continue.

Is there an alternative way of doing this?

Match these routes with a prefix-list and set the community and then have another permit statement without any set action? Or do you have further requirements?

Wow, that works just fine. I thought I needed the continue feature for this. I guess I need to read up on that.
