Now that the new test (640-864) has been out for some time I am interested in an updated study resource list.
"Books" - "Training Videos" - "Testing software"
Has anyone heard whether Diane Teare is going to update her book(s) anytime soon? Her old book is still listed on Amazon even though it is now outdated. Is it still worth the current asking price? (Designing for Cisco Internetwork Solutions (DESGN) (Authorized CCDA Self-Study Guide) (Exam 640-863) (2nd Edition))

There are a few updated books available for the new version of the Exam. If you have experience with Design, then you can go with the standard OCG:

They released a Foundation Learning Guide for the updated exam as well:

The CBT Nuggets and INE videos do a high level review of the material, but I would probably go with the FLG for a more in depth review for the exam. The actual exam is not too terribly different than the previous 640-863, though they updated certain sections of the content (Virtualization for example), and removed some deprecated topics.CCIE Sec: Starting Nov 11 -

I am familar with both CBT Nuggets and INE but I do not know what FLG stands for. Can you clarify?
Since the Teare book is mentioned many times in this forum I am still wondering whether it is worth buying considering that it is now outdated.
