Let me know if you guys have questions about it. Seems pretty basica so far, hopefully it picks up. I think it will seeings as they gave me a bag with 6 full size books -_- The instructor is a bit....odd lol. She is very eccentric lol.

Based on the SANS training calendar, this should be Tanya Baccam, right?

SANS 401 might feel a bit basic at the beginning, but the sheer amount of material will leave you feeling at least a bit overwhelmed by the time you're done with the class.
    Hopefully-useful stuff I've written: http://kimiushida.com/bitsandpieces/articles/

I once thumbed through the first book of the GSEC course. I thought it was a good amount of information to cover in a week-long class. I didn't realize there were additional course books, and the book I was looking at was only for the first day. I realized then and there I would need to (re)study my InfoSec for a few weeks just to make taking the GSEC course beneficial to me.

I have come to really like Tanya, she really knows her material and shes a great teacher. You can tell that it comes naturally to her. One thing I have noticed, I am really out of place here. I am the only person my age. I am 26 and nearly all of the other attendees are well into their 30's and 40's. I get alot of looks like " what are you doing here whipper snapper!?".
