Follow up on phone screenings?

Probably a stupid question, but are you supposed to follow up on quick phone interviews or only "real" interviews? I'm talking about ten to twenty minute phone screens aimed at weeding out people who applied to the wrong position/lied on their resume/really don't fit in with the organization's culture/etc.

Depends on how interested in the position you are. It certainly doesn't hurt to do so. Every company moves at a different speed. Some will get back to you to schedule another interview within 24 hours, some might take months. -

I always follow up if I want the job.An expert is a man who has made all the mistakes which can be made.
