Names for entry level positions

I have a few questions. The first question is what is the name/title for entry level security positions. Another question i have is how do you gain the prerequisite "security" experience for that entry level position. Is a college degree necessary for an entry level security positions ie (you wont get an interview without a degree)
I am also looking into getting into the reverse engineering side of security. So it would be more advantageous to try to get programming work experience and then security experience.
