async1 is up, line protocol is down (looped)
My async interface is down..and getting this error..anyone ever got this error? If so how do I bring this interface up on my 1700 router??

What is it hooked to and can you post the configs? Do you have an internal CSU?
I have seen problems with 2500 series routers with jacked up pins on the serial interface...but, those are different types of connectors.Kenny

reloaded Member Posts: 235In my experience, sometimes you can have phantom loops down the line, most of the time with the local CSU/DSU or some screw up with the commerical carrier. Either that, or the interface or pins are screwed up.Reloaded~4~Ever
