What is it hooked to and can you post the configs? Do you have an internal CSU?

I have seen problems with 2500 series routers with jacked up pins on the serial interface...but, those are different types of connectors.

In my experience, sometimes you can have phantom loops down the line, most of the time with the local CSU/DSU or some screw up with the commerical carrier. Either that, or the interface or pins are screwed up.
