Hello everyone,
I come from a sys/net admin background with education and experience. I'm stuck between choosing between being a Systems Administrator or Information Security Analyst, both same pay but with the security job I feel like I would learn more and gain much more experience then taking the job with duties that I am use to. The pay is basically the same but with the security job they will pay for a bunch of security certs as well. What would you guys do?
Thanks..:):)

I agree, infact one of my former employees transitioned from SA to Security IA just recently. He is loving it and learning a lot. It's all he talks about when we have our bi monthly phone call.
