Serial Interface WIC-2T

I am not sure if it's just me, or there is something wrong with my router with WIC-2T.
I have a DTE connected to my 2620 (WIC-2T) s0/0, and the other end DCE on 2621 (WIC-2T) s0/3. EIGRP is running on both routers
2620:
interface Serial0/0
ip address 20.1.1.1 255.255.255.0
end
2621:
interface Serial0/3
ip address 20.1.1.4 255.255.255.0
clock rate 128000
end
Now, the interface 2620 with DTE interface is flapping up and down. However, when I used the DCE on 2620 and plugged the DTE to 2621, everything is fine. And I can see 2620's loopback at 2621. 2621 can ping the 2620's loopback interface.
I tried the 2620's s0/1 with DTE and it did the same thing, the interface is flapping up and down. I tried the DCE and it stays up/up. It seems like it does not like the DTE side.
Have you guys encounter something like this?

Optionsthehourman Member Posts: 723I figured it out. The one that causing the issue are the WIC-2Ts from 2621 router. For some reason, they can't seem to provide some clocking. However, they do work as DTE just fine.
Also, when I deleted the startup config, it deleted the ios as well. It is a good thing that my 2620 router ios is compatible with 2621.Studying:
