.NET and DFS

Am studying the MS Press book for this exam and noticed that things like .NET and DFS and a few other things arent really covered in very much depth if at all. Have any of you lot who took the exam come across questions on these? Or are such topics out of scope for the 290 exam?
The passing score is 700 right?
