Unattended installs?

Hello all,
So I'm going through a tech refresh soon and I'm trying to find an easier way to do the hardening of servers and installation of 2008 R2. What are your thoughts on Unattended installs? Would this make my life easier in the upcoming months rather than installing Server 2008 R2 on each server individually and then locking it down? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
