I am taking CCNA Exploration Network Fundamentals Ver 4.0 and we are on Chapter 6. I am really having a hard time with this and I was wondering if maybe someone can help.
I can convert decimal to binary just fine and Vice versa,
I having a issue in finding my network and the magic number. I keep messing up. I am missing a step some where along the line.
Example
Host IP is 172.30.1.33
Network Mask 255.255.255.0
Network Address 172.30.1.0 <-- I had to fill in
Network Broadcast address 172.30.1.255 I had to fill in
Total number of Host bits 16 <- I had to fill in
Number of hosts 65,534 <-- I had to fill in
Is this correct ?
