Broadband cards with static IP addresses
We have gone to a VOIP system in the office, and removed phones at several of our remote locations. In order for those locations to use the server, we have installed a softphone application.
Problem we have run into, is that the broadband cards that a dozen of our employees use do not allow a static IP address to be set, therefore they cannot use the software.
Has anyone found a card that allows static IP?

Optionsswild Member Posts: 828I'm not very knowledgable about VOiP, but I would look at VPN options. that way you could assign them a local static.
I have set this up before for a temporary circumstance. Not sure if it would be resilient but I don't see why not.
