but I PASSED the sy0-201 exam today with a 856! Despite studying Darril's book and all the exams in it, I actually found it more difficult than expected. I would say 20% of the questions I got right were due to my real-world experience in I.T. security. I used all but one minute of the test time.
There were technical difficulties with the testing computers for almost all of us taking exams (about 8 of us). It seemed like once the employee set us up on a computer, you would read the directions, then click start, and it would get a "network path not found" error. Then the employee would just move us to another computer. Luckily, once you were in the exam, there was no problems. The other testing centers I have used have always had top-quality equipment and never seen an issue.
Oh, and this office building where the center was located was definately built by the "lowest bidder" because every time the employee walked past me to set someone up on a computer, the floor would bounce up-and-down about an inch. Gee! I thought we were going to fall through the floor.

Darril Member Posts: 1,588Congrats on the pass. I know how challenging it can be taking a test in a test center with problems. Glad to hear you overcame the problems and passed.

swild Member Posts: 828I have always had issues with Prometric exams. I have only had 1 in 6 go perfectly smooth. I always chose Vue if given the option but the only Vue center closed about 6 months ago. The nearest one is now an hour away. However, I have never had an issue with Vue.
