Hi all, i was just wondering wheather there are many questions on the exam to do with the power supply voltages! Such as what voltages are on what colour leads etc....?

    Yes!

    If you're an A+ tech, you're supposed to recognize and be able to troubleshoot power supplies, so you may need to check a voltage or two!

    But, probably not a lot of questions on PS.

    I don't think they quiz much on power supllies anymore - you might see one or two on the PS connectors. The industry is trying to discourage techs from working on power supplies - those capacitors in them pack a ton of volts!
