Is anyone aware of any software that can employees certifications? Something that tracks expiration dates, date obtained, etc? Looking for something for my company to help start a certification program.

Will your company actually be creating the certification exams, or just tracking what certification the employees have?

Just tracking what everyone has. We have to meet requirements, so we want to track who has what.

What you should use for tracking those types of records is a relational database application, like you would find written for MS Access or SQL Server. However, most people would probably use Excel for the same purpose because that what they know how to use.

Certifications are part of an employee's qualifications, so they are generally tracked by HR. What software does your HR department use to catalog employee information?

There's room for those who want the easy work and those who want the challenges. You will, of course, generally be compensated in proportion to what you shoulder.
